My name is William Jewett, and I was born in Houston, Texas. For my entire life I’ve been intrigued by how things work. From repeatedly taking apart and cleaning a go-kart carburetor to attempting to mesh together a remote controlled car and hovercraft, I developed a passion for working with my hands at a young age. In high school, that progressed to designing and building my own motorcycle, and during my years studying mechanical engineering at Dartmouth my desire to know how the world around me works only deepened. I progressed from Google Sketch-Up to SolidWorks and from stick to TIG welding; I have learned about different materials and all kinds of manufacturing processes.
I want to spend my life creating and designing.
