While I went to school and actually lived in Houston, growing up I spent every other weekend on "the Farm," about two hours west of Houston. Since the age of four, I've been fixing go-karts, building fences, and laying irrigation for olive orchards. The Farm is, and always will be, a source of inspiration in my life. I have literally shed blood, sweat, and tears on that piece of land. We have taken to building elevated platforms, or towers as we like to call them, at different spots on the property so as to get better views of the land and of the sunsets. Slightly crazy undoubtedly, but working on the farm with my hands is a passion I'll never lose.
